It not only looks delicious, but adds that slight sweetness to coffee that you can’t easily get by using just regular cream. Not only does it add that sweetness, but it’s also versatile in how it’s used. With many people opting for the seasonal cold foamed drinks to add that extra special pizzazz to their cold brew.

You’re probably most familiar with it if you’ve ever visited Starbucks and ordered one of their cold-brewed drinks. Typically sweet cream tends to be on the more heavier side, resembling more of a half& half consistency as opposed to your typically milk like consistency. Sweet Cream is made using some sort of sweetener, a heavy cream, and a milk.
Sweet Cream is used in a variety of different drinks ranging from alcoholic to caffeinated beverages. It can be added to cocktails to create a creamy flavored beverage, added to teas to enhance the flavor and whipped into a cold foam and added to your favorite coffee beverage. You can also add extra flavoring to enhance the flavor and give the cream a different type of flair. I like to use the sampler syrups by Monin, as their sizes are great for a mini coffee bar at home.
To make the sweet Cream, just add all of the ingredients to a container and mix throughly.
So once you have successfully made your sweet cream, you can go ahead and add it directly to your drink or you can add in another step and turn it into cold foam. To make cold foam all you need is:
Using 1/4 cup of sweet cream, add it to your bowl. Then using the hand mixer mix on high for about a minute or until you start to notice the foam starting to form. You can also add some flavored syrups, to give the foam an extra flair. Once you’ve made your foam, you can then add it to the top of any drink of your choice.
