DIY Vegan Sweet Cream & Cold-Foam Recipe

So you probably can’t deny that Starbucks sweet cream has been popular for a while now. And honestly who can blame it? It not only looks delicious, but adds that slight sweetness to coffee that you can’t easily get by using just regular cream. Not only does it add that sweetness, but it’s also versatile in how it’s used. With many people opting for the seasonal cold foamed drinks to add that extra special pizzazz to their cold brew. 

If you’re vegan like me, you’ve either:

  1. probably never really had the opportunity to try it, or
  2. you’ve been craving it since you transitioned.

If the latter is the case, never fear, here is a simple way to make your own [Vegan] sweet cream at home.

What is Sweet Cream?

What is Sweet Cream Used For?

  1. Agave
  2. A vanilla nondairy milk alternative of your choice. I used vanilla soy milk

To make the sweet Cream, just add all of the ingredients to a container and mix throughly.

How do I make Cold Foam?

So once you have successfully made your sweet cream, you can go ahead and add it directly to your drink or you can add in another step and turn it into cold foam. To make cold foam all you need is:

  1. A bowl
  2. A hand mixer
  3. The Sweet Cream that you just made

  • Add all the ingredients to a container and mix together.
  • Vegan Cold Foam Recipe:
    1. Add ¼ Cup of the Vegan Sweet Cream to a container and taking a standmixer mix on high for 30sec to 1min [until the mixture starts to foam and get dense].
    2. Feel free to add in a syrup of choice
